Soccer Officials On-Line Rules Clinic
September 28-October 11, 2009
(September 14th, 2009) The 2009 soccer rules clinic for
officials will be offered online from Monday, September 28 to
Sunday, October 11. The online rules clinic consists of a 30
minute video presentation and a 10 question quiz presented at
the conclusion of the video. You must answer 8 questions correctly
in order to receive credit for attending the clinic. If you
do not answer 8 questions correctly you must view the video
presentation in its entirety and answer the questions again.
You can view the presentation and take the quiz any time day
or night during the assigned period.
The online rules clinic will be offered through our new LHSAA
officials "portal". The portal is a website designed
to provide officials a place to access officiating related applications
and tasks like taking online rule clinics and exams. You will
need a username and password to access this portal. Your assignment
secretary should have this information for you.
Starting September 28, login to http://www.lhsaaonline.org
using the username and password provided to you by your assignment
secretary. Once you login into the system, click on the "Online
Soccer Clinic" link. This link will start the video presentation.
You will NOT be able to pause the video, rewind it, or advance
it. Once the video presentation is finished you will have 30
seconds to start the quiz. If you do not start the quiz in this
period the system will not let you continue the quiz and you
must start the video presentation from the beginning.
You have 15 minutes to answer the 10 questions. If you answer
8 correctly you will be credited with attending the clinic otherwise
you must restart the presentation and take the quiz again until
you can answer 8 questions correctly.

Here is some great and concise information on the proper
way to conduct kicks from the penalty mark. Alfred Kleinaitis
gathered material from various sources and put it in one single
checklist format. This is a great tool for preparing for the
upcoming state tournaments.
