Baton Rouge is home to one of the largest and most experienced pools of referees in the state. The mentoring program connects new referees with some of those referees who are looking to give back. The Mentoring & Training options include:

• Training sessions on small sided games to develop an initial skillset

• 1 on 1 mentoring for more specific guidance of individual's needs

• Group learning sessions in which game scenarios are presented and explained for developing referees to better understand the decision making process
